Activate Accelerate Session 6

For this Accelerate session, we had a huge conversation about the use of AI in our projects and daily lives, as well as how to utilize the different tools out there. Our director gave us a huge selection of tools and newsletters that showcase the use of AI in our world today. Our discussion then focused on which sectors are going to utilize AI the most, which aligns with what we’ve already been looking at in our TKS sessions this past month about the use of AI in different fields. We discussed areas like biology, energy, robotics, software development, manufacturing, etc.

We then ended off our session by discussing our accomplishments from the past couple of weeks. This helps us stay accountable and accurate with our weekly trackers as well. I shared how ClotGuard had advanced to the review stage for 2 different grants funded at the University of Calgary, as well as made progress with the collaboration with the same university for testing.

Overall, session was pretty discussion based, but I found a lot of interesting takeaways from it.
